Tomorrow Belongs to Tomorrow is a work in progress.
I’m writing and publishing the novel one chapter at a time, with new chapters released every Sunday.
Publishing a chapter doesn’t mean I’ve locked it forever. Novels normally change as they’re written. A conversation in Chapter 4 might need to change because of something I discover while writing Chapter 14. A character may develop differently than I expected. I might find a better way to set something up—or realize that I’ve explained something twice.
Normally, all of that happens privately between drafts. With this novel, I’m leaving some of that process visible.
What can change?
Published chapters may receive small edits, rewritten passages, added material, or occasionally have material removed.
I’m not interested in documenting every corrected comma or changed word. But when I make a meaningful change, I’ll record it in the Changes & Removed Material log.
That might include:
- Scenes or passages I’ve removed
- Material I’ve added
- Story or continuity changes
- A short explanation of why I made the change
The version of each chapter currently on the site is always the version I consider part of the novel. Removed material is preserved as an earlier draft, rather than an alternative version of the story.
Do I need to follow the changes?
No. You can simply read the book from beginning to end and ignore all of this.
The change logs are there for anyone who’s interested in watching a novel take shape while it’s being written. They may contain spoilers, so it’s best to read the relevant chapter first.
When are new chapters published?
New chapters are published every Sunday.
As the novel develops, the schedule may occasionally change. I’ll post any significant schedule updates on this page.
